Hans is a seasoned executive, with over 25 years Executive Leadership experience, serving as CEO on three multinational corporations and currently running his own company. Hans leverages his broad advisory experience to assist CEOs with perspective and thought partnership. In this capacity, he assists CEOs in a one-on-one advisory approach to help drive tactical levers, business planning, growth and strategy.

Hans also assists clients by serving on Boards of Directors and on Advisory Boards.

I advise CEOs across numerous industries including Logistics, Media, Security, Edtech, Medical devices, eCommerce, and Retail. I do not define what I do as coaching, or consulting; instead, I am a “thought partner” to CEOs, available to them tactically as they require. My business model allows me to offer immediate accessibility, thereby providing my expertise and counsel on a real-time basis.

I bring with me more than 25 years of experience with multinational organizations. Prior to starting my own business in 2012, I served as Chief Executive of Asia Pacific for Agility Logistics, where my responsibilities spanned more than 20 countries and over 7,000 employees and where I served on Agility Logistics’ Global Management Board. I also served as DHL’s CEO for Global Customer Solutions, leading the development and sales of customer solutions across DHL Supply Chain, Warehousing & Distribution, Forwarding and Express Business Units. Prior to that role, I was CEO of DHL Express USA, and CEO of APL Logistics and served on the Global boards of both organizations.

I have lived and worked in Europe, the United States, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East and am known for my leadership skills in building effective cross-cultural teams and for achieving significant growth and profitability.

I am a recognized leader in the Logistics and Transportation industry, have sat on various industry Boards, and led my organizations to numerous industry awards and recognition. In 2009, I received the prestigious Executive of the Year award by the Strategic Account Management Association.

I am actively involved in the field of social entrepreneurship, and my affiliation with Ashoka has me supporting and advising social entrepreneurs worldwide.

I am a member of YPO and the Ashoka Support Network. I am founder and CEO of Ellipsis Advisors LLC, providing C-Level advisory services.
